Wisdom tooth extraction
Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are the last set of teeth to develop, typically emerging in the late teens to early twenties. For many people, these teeth can cause problems due to limited space in the mouth or improper alignment. When left untreated, problematic wisdom teeth can lead to pain, swelling, infection, crowding, or damage to neighboring teeth.
Common reasons for wisdom tooth removal include:
Impaction (trapped beneath the gums or bone)
Partial eruption leading to gum infections
Cyst formation or damage to nearby teeth
Orthodontic or prosthetic treatment planning
At our practice, we specialize in the evaluation and removal of wisdom teeth using the latest techniques. We offer local anesthesia and optional laughing gas (nitrous oxide) to help ensure a comfortable and low-stress experience. We do not offer IV sedation at this time. If you feel like you need this, please let us know and you will be referred to an office with this service. Whether your wisdom teeth are impacted or fully erupted, we tailor your treatment to your specific needs.
Our team will guide you through every step of the process, from imaging and consultation to surgery and post-operative care, with a focus on safety, comfort, and a smooth recovery.
